SMASH AND GRABS
Retailers should be aware that internal display cabinets which may have been in place for considerable time are no longer suitable to combat today’s criminals who are becoming bolder and more violent.
To prevent all but the severest of smash and grabs from showcases inside the shop, retailers are advised to fit high-security glass polycarbonate laminate to internal showcases and the backs of window displays.
SMOKE GENERATING SYSTEMS
As armed raids continue to rise, it is strongly advised to install a smoke generating system. The rapid reaction will, in most cases, leave thieves disoriented causing them to flee the premises. This is not designed as an entrapment measure.
